    Nonononono.

I have travelled a few times already with the straight - my most recent trip ended on Wednesday which is why I am slightly late replying to this.

I take two straights, cheapy ones or ones that I am not too worried about. They are in leather pouches that I picked up off ebay for almost nothing. I take a sub of soap, proraso or something similar, that you can lather in the bowl, and a travel brush. I cannot under-state just how useful a travel brush is. I took my normal brush once, and it got all bent out of shape and twisted, and required much tlc to get it back in shape again.

I keep the strop in the bottom of my case wrapped in a plastic bag to avoid liquid damage should something spill (bitter experience teaches me that one) and other then that the aftershave you would have taken anyway. Its really not that tough an experience, and if is only a week or so that is really enough.

Taking a razor on flight is absolutely not an option though.

    Cheers

    Si
