    Default Another picture info post..

I don't know if this belongs here or not, but I figured it would work here..

I shaved different sections of my face with three different blades, one dull, the next just after honing, and the next is fully sharpened and stropped to the "sweet spot" all three were WTG and then 36 hours later Macro shot the areas...

Here is the area where I had shaved with a dullish razor... I had actually used this one on my head a while back and hadn't stropped it... for those who straigh razor thier head know that a scalp will play havoc on a blade. Needless to say there was a lot of pulling and I did have to do a couple of passes too. There were several hairs that looked like this one in that area, torn, split and jagged. This area was also the reddest and stung the most when witch hazel was applied.

This next one is right after a blade that was honed on a norton 4000/8000 combo stone "Pyramid" style.. If you notice even though the cut on it is flat the end of the hair looks jagged, but there wasn't much irritation and I think the reason they were a little jagged is because a newly honed blade has teeth.

Now this one was done with the blade at the "sweet spot" Oddly enough it was a very clean cut... but when you see it you will know what I am talking about, I fully expected a flat clean cut or flatter.

Now I know it is angled because it's a WTG pass...

Well I hope this info explains some things or is at least entertaining.
