It sounds like a cool device. I have never used an abrasive on a strop, I just go to the hones. This method sounds quite good though. I will look into it for sure.

nice buy on the razor. i used a parker shavette as well when i first started. it's a nice shaver to start off with without spending a lot of money. good luck with your new razor!
