Greetings all, Themba here. I have been here for a while, but I rarely post. Like they say: shut up, you might lear something! I find that most of my questions get answered, so I don't have to post questions. Anyway....

I have head shaved with a few of my straights and my hair shaper with Fromm blades. The skin on the scalp is tight, on most people anyway, so there is no need for stretching. I usually employ a combing action. The free hand always covers the ear I am close to, completely pulling it out of the way. I will shave one side with the opposing hand. So if you can imaging using the left hand to shave the right side, coming from the back or from the top, in a combing action, with the right hand keeping the hair safe. That is my method, just seem easier.

However, I prefer, to use safety razors. I use a J.A. Henckels Rapide safety razor with a wedge style straight razor blade. I usually don't straight razor head shave to often, as I keep thinking something bad will happen...ha...ha.
