    Default First Razor

    I am looking to buy a first razor and want something really good that will last. I have a local guy that will hone for me and am looking at an early 50s Henckle Friodur 50 1/2 or a dorko 5/8th. Anybody know how much i should pay or if I am in over my head.

    hmmmm....I just answered this in the Razor forum.

    Maybe these should be merged??

    BTW, it's easier for SRP members to answer when you post in one sub forum.
