    Default razor oil?

    hey guys just wondering if SINGER all purpose machine oil would be ok to use on the blade of my razor for storage and to keep the rust off? Thanks guys.

    I've actually used that a lot.
    As my wife is a tailor, the house is full of it
    Works pretty well IMO

    Yes, It's basically mineral oil, the same as Wahl's clipper oil. If your going to just use it short term, wipe it on, and wipe it off, you should be fine. Long term storage is a different story.

    These oils are very light based (thin) and are of high quality. They can also be used for honing if you like to use oil instead of water. I have used it in the past and can"t find fault with it at all. Best, wildhog
