Yep, that's what happened to me!
And with the stones as well...
I thought I'd got away with the strops but guess who just ordered a new custom strop from Neil Miller? I can't wait to get my hands on that beauty! Stunning!
Just ordered new soap as well... And and and...
Good luck with those AD's, let's talk in a year and see if you've stuck to just 7!

A 7 day rotation approach (plus a couple of extras) makes sense to me, swapping out older less favored razors to make room for the new ones coming in.

So - 2 and 1/2 years later how's that "team of 7" going? I'm guessing there are over 100 (or more) on the team by now.

Thanked: 37I try to stick to the 7 razors. I have 8 now. I try to keep the ones I'm more comfortable with.

Sounds like you have good discipline Vic! That's an admirable quality in this world of straight razors. I used to have discipline… My rotation is normally 7 as well but there always seems to be an 8th hanging around the box. …and another few hundred lurking close by in my shop's storage. …and an additional few thousand or so just a keyboard click (and razor budget bank account balance) away.
