Hello Gents! I am new to the Straight Razor Place and to straight razor shaving. For the past couple of months i have been shaving with a Magic disposable straight razor. My DE blades of choice were the Feather hi-stainless. I love it but i as far as the straight razor goes, i want to buy my first straight razor. i have gone through tons of websites trying to find a good razor but i do not want to commit on one and regret it later. i want a quality razor for a beginner like my self at a reasonable price. preferably something with dark wood scales. i am open to any suggestions you guys might have on straight razors and shaving products. i am just overwhelmed with all the choices


I have watched tons and tons of straight razor shaving videos on YouTube and i can confidently say that i have a good technique. i am sure it will be quite different when i use an actual blade but i think i can handle it. I appreciate any suggestions and comments.
