    Many years ago whilst a little tipsy, I decided to shave before going to bed so I could sleep a little longer in the morning. I got so close to the mirror that I dug the razor into my chin. Still have the divot

    Definitely not a good idea

    I feel alone.
    In my opinion a cold beer or a wee dram of fine single malt while shaving is truly one of the finer things in life...

    You're not alone. My routine now is a nice pipe in evening, along with a scotch or perhaps a rum cocktail. Then once my pipe and drink are done a nice relaxing shave before bed.
