    Default Third times the charm?

    Hey all

Third shave went pretty well. Today was the day I tried the neck! and after some anxiety, it was easier than I expected. Once I got over the fear of putting a blade to my neck, I'd say it's about the same as doing the cheeks in terms of difficulty. The only problem spot is the round of the chin. I'll work on that next time. I actually had a dream about shaving last night.... issues?

On a side note. Does anyone know of a place to get my razor honed locally in Orlando. Shipping it seems like such a hassle if I can avoid it.

    Thanks
    Andrew

Its a bit scary putting an open blade to your throat for the first time, huh?

Once you get used to the idea and your confidence builds a little it will become normal. Just don't get overconfident, remember to treat that blade with respect, while at the same time shaving with confidence.

There's a 12 step program to deal with the dreams, but unfortunately it makes things worse. You end up with more razors and almost an impatience for your beard to grow so you can shave again

lol, I have had a dream or two myself about shaving. For some reason I never really felt any worries about taking a straight blade to my neck. It sort of felt natural to me if that makes any sence. Going against the grain was a little tricky for me though. Keep at it and you should be going through those shaves with no problems

I think about razors when I wake up.

I think about razors when I'm at work.

I think about razors just before I go down into the shop, where I do more than think about razors.

I think about razors just before I sleep....I'm usually planning the next moves in the shop.

It's good that you're dreaming about them....it means they like you.
