Try a chopstick, the square ones work well for this. Put some polish/rubbing compound on the tip and rub out the spot, use finer polishes to shine. You may have to shave one end of stick to a ¼ x 1/8 chisel tip some come that way, for precise control. Lay the blade on a piece of 9X12 in 6mm/¼ inch Craft medium density foam, Wally Mart or Craft store. The foam compressed and protects you from the edge and holds the blade securely.

I store my rotation razors, about 20 in a Bamboo box in a bathroom drawer with layers of unbleached paper napkins between the layers of razors. Unbleached paper is very absorbent and will wick moisture from razors and surrounding air. Restaurant supply, like Smart & Final sell packs of 250, for 2-3 dollars, several years supply.

Unbleached paper polishes well, a bit courser than bleached paper towels. I also like the blue paper shop towels, Sam’s & Costco for polishing. Razors I don’t intend to use for a while I coat with a drop of olive oil on a Q-tip, any thin oil works, olive rinses off easily, and I keep a small squeeze bottle in the medicine cabinet.

I also buy Micro Fiber towels from Sam’s Club for less than a buck a piece and keep a stack in another drawer just for drying razors and my hands while shaving and sharpening. They will leave your razor almost completely dry and remove soap & water spots.
