If getting it to look like a pre pubescent boy down there is your goal, try a DE. Much MUCH safer for the soldier.

Thanked: 1As that is the preferred look these days, that's what I'mma do. I may invest in a DE when I have some extra money laying around. Have to deal with my expensive cartridge razor in the mean time.

Don't shave. that's not the best way to get what you want. There was a big article about the metrosexual lifestyle in the Philadelphia Inquirer a few years ago. Guys here in Philly go to the same salons that their girlfriends go to for a bikini wax. The guys they interviewed for the article said it didn't hurt and that the women who did the waxing were very professional about it.
Think about it. No mater what kind of razor you use, you aren't going to do a very good job on your scrotum. Waxing will remove every last hair and when it grows back, it won't be coarse like razor stubble.
And think of the benefits: inviting your sweetie to your salon for a "his 'n hers wax session" would be an awesome bonding moment!

"Manscaping" is the term these days, or so I've heard. I would recommend a DE an extreme attention to detail. Good luck and don't worry about keeping us posted on your progress.

I think it's a really great idea, to make it a little more interesting maybe try it with a blindfold, whilst standing on roller skates, perhaps a few drinks first, just to settle the nerves too.
