I have an old king cutter & used to have a new edelweis too. either new or vintage, imo boker are quality razor as long as its shave ready.
When I sold a few razors including edelweis not becoz they're not good, but I needed to buy a few hones

Still not smoking and still waiting for the new razor to arrive... I am not sure what is harder!

Well, both will make you poorer, but razors won't kill you without a major malfunction!! Stick with the quitting, I quit 44 years ago!!! The very best of luck and perseverance to you with my best wishes and prayers!!
