    Default Closer & smoother

So I'd been thinking about ways to improve my shaves as my chin is always a bit of a problem area for me. Today I tried a different way of stretching the skin around there & it worked wonderfully! It's absolutely smooth with no irritation, except a little patch i missed on my last pass. That spot is bugging the crap out of me right now, I can't stop rubbing it & wondering how I missed it, but I'll leave it for tomorrow.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one with that problem. Find a small thing you missed and go over it again and again.

Isn't it great to negotiate a new hurdle?

Last night I had my first shave that I can honestly say was closer than any other shave of my life...still sporting the goat though. The chin will be dealt with at a date to be determined

Yea, very common problem the chin area and neck under the chin too for me. Nice to see somebody finding new ways to do things better. Funny how those missed spots can irritate you all day, eh. Know the feeling.

It was pretty gratifying finally managing a bbs chin with no irritation. Now I just need to tackle that area immediately below my chin and my shaves will be golden

Takes a while to figure out all the nuances of your own face. Soon enough you'll figure out the best way to shave each part. When you finally do, you'll really have a nice shave.

Stretching the skin, knowing your whiskers angle of growth and right shaving angle are the key to success!

Well the growth is easy, pretty much everything points toward my throat except for the razor.

30 shaves in, things that helped me around chin, a real good lather on there, a well stropped razor, and pay attention to angle, it changes alot in that area. Also, in the beginning, i was going for the perfect shave, now i am not so hard on myself, and each shave seems to get better. Watched alot of different youtube videos on technique, everyone seems a bit different, but you pick up things that work for you.

Every face is different, every skin is different, every razor is different. And also every technique is different. It takes type to find the right combination of them all.
