Default Check out how cool I am :)

So I was wandering into a local leather supply store in town and noticed they had a big bin of leather scraps for super cheap. So I picked up a really nice piece and took it home. I traced out on a sheet of paper what I wanted, transfered it onto the leather, cut it out, and then got to sewing! I don't really know anything about leather working so I'm sure I did some of it the hard way, but in the end I think it turned out pretty nice! My King Cutter fits perfectly snug in my nice new leather straight razor case! What'd'ya think fellas?

Now I think I wanna find some rad leather punch and press a design or my initials into the leather. Really simple and fun to make!

You are pretty cool! Adrian Brody and friends in that shave-gizmo commercial got nothin' on you, man.

Oh no, now you've done it...

I've just gone and searched for a local leather supply here in town because of this and having found one I just know I'm going to get hooked on making cases, rolls, and more than likely a strop or two.

    Thanks a lot.

    Nice job!

Do you know what kind of leather that is? I really like its finish.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Cangooner, it was a scrap but I'm pretty sure they called it oil tanned burgandy cowhide.

Hobby lobby has leather tools for a decent price.. I have tinkered with leather a little too. Unfortunately my leather skills equal my straight razor restoration skills... Which are not good.. Combined the product looks like sometthing a neanderthal would make..

Keep your razors well oiled.Tanned leather may not be the best place to store them long term.

Wait till you see that place, so many different leathers and all the tools you need to work it. It's also the only place around I could find that sells pure neatfoot oil.
When I left there I was seriously thinking of taking up a new hobby.
