Thread: Got my first razor, off classifeds! :D

So I actually got something off the classified! I was planning not to, because I didn't like the feeling or thought of getting someone else's razor. A nice beginner's razor, and looks beautiful also! Monopol 5/8 razor

I'm so excited to try out some CarrieM and Al's creams too! Been doing so much research and watching videos. Hopefully my first shave comes out better than expected. I'm pretty good with my hands already, being an artist. Maybe that will help...

Not going to try my entire beard at first though, especially since I have a very full and thick one, being Portuguese.

Actually, I did a quick search and found a couple threads. Apparently it might mean a particular model number or style, for that brand/razor

If it's anything like Henckels razors, they all have numbers, and no one outside of Henckels seems to know what they mean. It could be a model number, style or type of steel etc

Yes, i currently only have my one Dovo, so id like to get a couple more SRs so i can rotate which one i use. Extend how often ill need to send out for honing
