    Um I'm wondering if anyone knows of a shop or someone local you can refer me to, to get mu blade honed when it gets there? I actually called The Art of Shaving in Tyson's and they said they refer their customers to someone in Reston. That would be funny if it's someone here, or part of this community.

    Hey guys, no one responded to my post in the VA group... So I'm following up here.

    I would love to do a get together in the fall sometime if possible. My 2nd vintage razor I got could use some polishing and the inside of the plastic scales could be cleaned up. Ideally I'd love to replace them. Its a Sheffield near wedge. The pin could be tightened too.

    You might try sending out a PM to diyguy (Brian) and see what he thinks. He has hosted a few nice get togethers. He is also really good at working on razors.
