I used to shave in the evening during the week and mornings on weekends but last summer I switched and now I shave in the mornings during the week and weekends can go either way.
I do kinda miss the regular evening shaves but I don't plan on switching back any time soon

The twelve to fifteen hours after a shave my face feels best. To enjoy that most I shave in the morning.

Thanked: 20When I started using a straight, I shaved in the evening because it took a long time compared to the "zip zip" of a cartridge razor. Over time, as I became more skilled and comfortable using a straight, it took less time to shave, so I returned to a morning routine.

+1 to Pensacola Tiger above. When I started out, I had to shave in the evenings because it took so long. Now, I can shower and shave in about a half hour.

I have only been using a straight for a few weeks now. I shave in the evenings on weekdays. I have cut my shaving time down considerably in the last week or so, and may eventually switch to mornings. I do like the relaxing, almost meditative time in the evenings though. Helps with releasing all the problems I may have had during the day.

I am a morning routine man. My beard likes to grow... and grow fast. If I shave at night I look like a hobo in the morning. The only time I shave in the evening is if I have a date lined up. Might as well get the face nice and smooth so a lady can enjoy the shave as well.
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Moonlight vs Sunlight?
Morning. I like to start the day fresh.
Also it's always a little cooler at 4am so I don't sweat during the shave.
