I find it differs from razor to razor and lather to lather.
I shaved with a Simmonds full hollow off a Sigma 13K a few weeks ago and couldn't even feel stubble for 36 hours and yet with a 4/8 W&B wedge off a coticle I can feel stubble after about 12 hours (it's not noticable though).
It must be a YMMV kind of thingHang on and enjoy the ride...

Normally (even with my DE) I only shave every 48 hours.
But it's funny you ask this because just this AM, I had to go into the office and I have gone all weekend without shaving. I also know that I need to go to a business meeting tomorrow AM and I get up for my flight at 4:30. So I need to shave tonight as well. My answer was a simple WTG pass this AM (which went nick-free but not the closest) and tonight I'll shave again (probably WTG and XTG).
