...more quickly than I expected, but I already got my second razor. This one was from whipped dog and it is a pretty cool looking razor. I love the detail along the blade and spine! Any idea on what kind this is though or how old it might be. From what I can see, it's got what looks like Ta Bohler Stahl on one side, and only Solingen on the other. Blade simply says Best Silversteel. Can't see anything other than that on it...but it is a nice looking razor!

    Was this a "sight unseen"?

More of a half seen deal. I gave him an idea of what I was looking for and he picked this out for me.

I love that etch! It's very Maori pattern looking.

She's a beautiful looking razor. Reminds me of the Tattoo Lady at a circus. I kind of have a thing for tattoos on women so that is a compliment. Course, they do become more and more attractive the more I drink. But seriously, she is a beaut. Let us know how she shaves.

Look like a 'souvenir of Solingen' style razor - they show up quite often and generally don't have factory markings. They tend to be great razors though!

That would make sense if that's the case...either way, it is a very unique looking razor.
