Most any razor really.
If it is properly honed, most new or old razors will provide a great shaving experience.
German, Swedish or English, doesn't matter much, they have made some superb shavers the lot of them.
Personally I tend to reach for a razor a bit on the larger side of things, and with a rather hollow grind.Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

My question to the question is why ask the question? What is the motivation?

Thanked: 88The search for the best will make you spend a lot of money... and own a lot of great, if not the best, razors. Today, a little-known kamisori maker, two days ago a big Bartman, a day before a Hart Steel, the day before a Dubl Duck... tomorrow something else... hmmm... What will I shave with tomorrow?...

Thanked: 1936Give it time my friend, you will end up with plenty & weed out the ones you don't care for...only to end up getting some just like them later on down the road.

Thanked: 2I agree. I sometimes like these debatable topics! To some one brand is good to others maybe some others. To each his own, really. But love to hear the different opinions.
From what i have learned so far, that Dovo is probably the most trusted one, in terms of quality, price and sheer number of people who have recommended it to me!

Thanked: 1936There are many other quality makers that are just as good my friend, we recommend the Dovo's for beginners to get their feet wet on a good every day razor at an affordable price. Best bang for the buck on a new razor, yes, the Dovo hands down.
