    I use sewing machine oil. It is a very highly refined mineral oil. It will not harm your blade, but wipe it on and wipe most of the excess off. I have found that moisture can get trapped under the oil and promote black spots on your blade.

    I would guess no. I bought some baby oil and just put a little bit on a cotton ball and put a light film of it over my blade. I think that should be sufficient.

    Ty I will wipe the excess off. I was leaving them drenched in oil.

    Just got my Alembic case last week. Very nice. Some of you guys may need several, however, as it only holds 7 razors.

    If you go to the site, it has something you can compare your razor to to see if it fits.
