    You can use vegetable or olive oill, but I think camillia oil is the best. You don't really need to oil it unless you plan on storing it or live in a high humidity climate like I do. You can go to the hardware store and get a small bottle with a syringe tip and its great for getting in the pivots. One came with my Hart and I use it on all my razors. I have read that WD-40 is bad, so I would avoid that or anything of the like.
