    Hi Fiddler,
Sorry to hear of your troubles. Did it shave OK for your first shave? If so then I'm afraid you most likely dulled it while stropping. There is a *ton* of great info on stropping in the wiki (follow the "Library" link above) and in the forum. A great thread is the Stroptober one from last fall: http://straightrazorpalace.com/strop...st-2012-a.html

If you have rolled the edge or otherwise killed it while stropping then most likely it will have to be sent out for honing before it will have a good edge again.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

The problem is not your stropping or anything else at this point. The problem is the razor you have...Kreigars are not a reputable brand that will hold a shaving edge. Sorry to break the bad news

Ah, nice catch... I completely missed the Kreigar reference!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.

Don't send this blade out for honing. As Catrentshaving mentioned that is not a reputable brand and you will be spending good money after bad if you send it for honing as the edge simply will not last. Use that one as a letter opener and look instead for a quality blade. A good place to start is the classifieds here at SRP: Straight Razors - Straight Razor Place Classifieds

Once you do get a good blade there are a number of reputable honemeisters to whom you can send it for honing when required. You'll also find a number of them in the classifieds: Member Services - Straight Razor Place Classifieds

Something to consider, there often are vintage razors of good quality from second tier makers found in the classifieds that come honed and shave ready. They are sometimes found for around $ 50 shave ready which saves their purchaser the cost of the initial honing and shipping.
