Hello all. I just bought a Feather double edge safety razor. I am 45 years old and remember my Grandfather shaving with a safety razor until he got to shakey and he switched to electric. Anyway, I've always used disposable. I just shaved with it tonight and got a neck burn from it and it kind of bled a little in spots. I didn't nick,I know what that feels like. Is this normal just starting and getting your face trained to the safety razor? If so,about how long will it take for your face to grow accustomed to the new razor? If not, what are some things I can do to prevent this?
