Thread: Pre shave oil

Once you have decided to use a pre-shave oil how is it best used? Put on dry skin or wet? I followed Geofatboy on youtube and he applies lather with a brush for (it seems to me) a long time before he starts shaving. Is it easily brushed off the skin while applying lather from a brush? Does it remain from the pre-shave application for a 3 passe shave? I know nothing about it.

When I use a preshave product I put it on a moist face. Whether that is post splash or post shower depends on the day for me. One application is all that is needed unless you choose to use it as a post shave as well.
