Thanked: 3I have sensitive skin and have found that aftershaves with alcohol dry out my skin too much, sting or no sting so I only use balms now

Had somewhat of the same problem until I bought an alum block. Worked great and made my skin feel great. Would not be without it. Hope this helps.

Thanked: 20I wouldn't think that an aftershave like Old Spice would burn all day. I would think that it was a razor burn. I use straight rubbing alcohol after my shave but I do add a Cologne on top of it and only feel a burning face is I have a razor burn or use a dull blade. When I do have a razor burn(usually on my neck) I use straight Aloe Vera from the leaf. this cures it in about 6 hours and I am free to shave the next day. I would say to give your face a rest for a day to heal then try it again. If it still happens try another aftershave. I think you might have to just try different things till everything works out.
