    Most cobblers will carry both mink oil and neatsfoot oil.

    What happens when it goes rancid? And does anyone have thoughts on whether Neats Foot oil or Mink Oil is better? Can you get these at Hardware stores?

    It smells unpleasant. :-/

    You might be able to find the leather care products in the shoe care section of a drugstore. Outdoor stores might be a good place to look as well.
