p.s. certain shaving creams are also loaded with harsh chemicals. Soaps are a better alternative in that sense

I guess cancer is something to be concerned about, but just think how great my clean-shaven face will look when my relatives are viewing me in my casket.

After reading about and doing a little research on this Dry Shave I decided to order a couple bottles from Classic Shaving, after all this hobby is about trying something new and experimenting . I will admit it might take a little fun out of the game, mixing up a nice lather of soap or cream but what the hell I'll give it a shot

I dont think it takes fun out of shaving because i've used it twice so far and both times i was laughing. Surely thats the defention of fun
I have had one of my blades sharpened and to test it i cant use the bold for men because i know i will be like, "wow its beyond sharp, what a shave" i have to use my proraso cream and pre oil , to get a true reading..
Bold for men will always give a better closer and smoother shave..damn alien technologies

You can hope so, but remember, you won't be performing your final shave...

I tried doing half my face dry one day last week. The side of my face was no problem, but above the lip and the neck areas were uncomfortable, frankly, for a couple of days.

So my dry shave formule arrived in the mail today and on top of that I also had a three day growth. So I took me a hot shower stropped the custom 10/8 Bob Allmen up and gave it a go. I was laughing so hard after the first pass from the sideburn down that I had to stop for a second and take alook in the mirror as I was completly floored. Not only was the shave BBS it was damn near effertless. The second pass with just a little more rubbed into the face was just as smooth. I must say its worth ago even if its just for traveling or a quick shave with out whipping up a soap or cream.

Miraculous! This flies in the face of centuries of wet shaving theory :O My world has turned upside down, and I have only been wetshaving (discounting cartridge razors) for 8 months.

In advertising ridiculous claims are not uncommon.
Like "Dry Shave Gel" which the main ingredient is water.
    Go figure?

I just don't get it, depilatories have been around for couple of decades now, why all the hype around this product now? Try Veet depilatory cream - cheaper, faster and more efficient. If anyone wants to switch to that type of shaving,I am ready to pick up your straight razor collection at a reasonable price:))))
