Dus in het vervolg eerst bij mij klagen ,en dan pas op het Forum!!
I complained twice to you directly. 1st time you said it would get better with time. After a year I complained again that it had not gotten any better but I received no reply at all. I still have the relevant emails.

    This is what we found:

    1)
    Coutellerie du Roi
    Passage du Nord 27
    De Brouckère - Brussels
    Coutellerie du Roi

The owner is a straight razor shaver himself and is a member of a french forum. I allerted him to our existence and I hope he joins us very soon. He was very nice and the shop is quite a treat. Not many straight razors, but what he has is good (mostly Dovo and Thiers Issard); he also has some soaps, many brushes and Dovo strops.

    2)
    Des Loges
    Rue des Fripiers 6
Ilôt Sacré (close to the Grand Place)

Nice shop. Bought a Dovo soap in a nice looking travel tin. A bit expensive, though... I'll see if the deal was any good tomorrow. There are other soaps and brushes. The razors are Solingen marked but I didn't recognize any of the brands. To be on the safe side, I wouldn't buy them...

I still haven't found a barber. But I'll continue the search. If any of you remember something, please tell me. My hair keeps on getting longer and the longer it gets, the balder I look...
    Nice shops there.

Lots of interesting stuff you have there!

If I may give a suggestion, please not be offended, but the Dutch-language-part of the site seems to be some automatic translation, and isn't very natural. Maybe you know a native Flemish/ Dutch speaker who can help you?

But again: If I need stuff: I'll check your site!

You're right the automated translation sucks.
Prices for translation are way too high (6000 eur+) for the time being and doing this job with a friend is a massive amount of work.

If someone can help for much less and is keen to spend some te with me ...
    Offers are more than welcome!

I may be able to help you out if it's not too urgent. I had already noticed some of the errors on your site but thought it a bit presumptuous to notify you

When still looking for a barber...
It's sure not close to Brussels...
    But in Antwerp.
Not so very far from de koordenwinkel.

Kapsalon NewTrend in de Nationalestraat (right across De Cliënt)
He also gives genuine straight razor shaves!
(I don't know if you know Axl Peleman... Antwerp musician... did a photoshoot for one of his latest albums, while getting a straight shave @ New Trend)

    grtz,
    PlyPals aka Kurt
