Thread: What is the best knot you have bought?

TGN, been using their knots for years, have seen eveyone else come and go, I think I will stick with them..

Both are very good Knots,one is not better than the other,I have not seen a two band HMW on any site.
Is alot of Nomanclature that gets tossed around about Knots and grades,most is B.S.
All you need to know is all knots come from China,even the knots used by companys that charge huge sums for brushes.
England was a great source of very High end ,hand made knots at one time.Today,even tho the countrysides are overun with badgers,killing them is banned.
I have bought Knots from TGN for years,I have had two bad knots out of maybe 150 or more.
Not saying other vendors that supply knots at cheap prices are bad,the quality of TGN knots and customer service is what is of import to me.

I have a TGN grade A in the mail. I've never tried their finest, maybe I'll order one next time.

I wouldn't use that other site, only because I've never heard of it before. Most people use TGN so to me, that's a safer bet.

I'd just pick a TGN knot. If you want to know which of their knots are "best" then you might need to be a little more specific in what you're looking for in a brush and maybe pixel can point you in the right direction.

Edit:Anyone tried the F2 finest badger? It says it's new, longer and softer tips.

ok so im thinking the best out right now it TGN knot. there grade A knot is getting the highest praise as well as there finest. no one has a strong opinion on the HMW. so i have a Rubberset 400 restore i want the best knot to put in it. I was thinking HMW From TGN... the 24mm but now i may now go with the grade A silvertip.
