Thanked: 2284The High Mountain White knots from TGN are a newer knot so there's not a whole lot of people who have used them yet. I'm not sure if Pixel has one in his rotation, but I know K37 put one together for himself a while back. Maybe PM him for some info on the HMW knot, and how it performs.

Thanked: 2027Have used 3 for others in custom handles, they are to spendy for me but they are beautifull knots, how do they lather?? probebly the same as any other highgrade silvertip, even mid-grade.
TGNs finest two bands are fantastic knots, just stay away from the blacks and the cheap chinese stuff.

Question at large here: I love boar brushes, that being said, what grade of badger is closest to boar? My boar brushes are the Semogue 830, 620 and the Badger and Blade edition by Omega. I love all three of them.

Whoa Nelly, there Pixel! Some might take offense to that!
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
