    If i had a brush from my Grandfathers i wouldn't use it
    I should keep it as is in my closet to remember him.
    Maybe the usage will ruin that brush.

    I have one just like the OP. It is a great beard conditioning tool and does make a lather from a puck. Never tried it with a cream, though.
