    Default I need a "REAL" Brush..Simpson or Thater ???

    Need some input to make up my mind. I have 200.00 to spend on a Quality Brush.I will be face lathering mostly ....It's between the Simpson Polo 8...26mm Knot and 50mm loft, Super Badger..@ 192.00.... Or the Thater #4292/6 B Finest Silver Tip Fan...28 mm knot , 54mm loft ,..@ 199.00...choices ,choices,choices !! Thanks

    I like my Thater 26mm but I love my polo 8. You can't go wrong either way but I'd go the Simpson.

    You might consider the Persian Jar x3. I love mine. It's great for face and bowl lathering.

    Or you could have pixelfixed make you something super nice on that budget! Or the other guys over there that do fantastic work

    second that bill,(pixelixed) or ray(walleyeman ) or several of the others can make a very nice brush for you ,, I only have these two so that's all I can recommend but your other choices are great too tc

    Would have to say if not going with a custom from one of the locals on here, I would pick the simpson. I don't own either of those models but have both a thater an a simpson. While both are great brushes the simpson just performs every time exactly the same. $.02

    can't comment on the Thater, nut i love my Simpson.
