    Hi Pete thanks for the follow up, as someone who only face lathers and prefers fan shape knots myself that flattop knot maybe something I need to try out and add to my collection.

    Thanks Bob, got that far, what I can't find is the flat top knot...fascinating looking brush, and as a face latherer I"m intrigued.

    I can only see the option for bulb or fan when I hit the drop down menu?

    Where is the illusive flat top knot...inquiring minds want to know??

    Phrank is correct, this brush isn't available on the Shavemac site anywhere. I contacted Bernd directly to custom order it.

    It's all relative, of course, and FYI, my only other reference point is my 3-band Shavemac, but I would say soft with backbone.
