Thanked: 3222With no starting point as a reference pretty hard to advise. A price point would help too. Maybe somebody who has used that brush could help.

Thanked: 3222Just had a look here https://www.vintagebladesllc.com/sho...-Blades-Brand/ and it is said to be a 2 band badger knot. Two band badgers are generally known for their stiffness/backbone compared to 3 band silver tips. Maybe look for a more densely packed slightly larger 2 band badger brush with with a low loft setting. The good news is that with your budget you will have a lot of good choices. The 2 band that I have is a Semogue SOC brush that has good backbone/stiffness and is well within your budget. How it compares to yours I could not say, unfortunately.

Gifts and care.com has Vie-long 26mm two bands for $135 shipped. Two bands are stiff but tips are soft.
