My Vie-Long Brown Horse Hair holds it's shape pretty well, and after use when towel lathered dry, it retains its shape. The awful smell that it had has finally gone. It's nowhere near as good as my badger brushes, but it'll suffice as my travel brush. It will be the only horse hair in my brush stable though.

I have one horse hair brush, a Vie Long 13061B Zurito Blanco. About like a nicely broken in boar.
It's a good brush, doesn't bird-nest, but I don't feel the need to acquire any more horse hair brushes.!! Enjoy the exquisite taste sharpening sharpening taste exquisite smooth. Please taste the taste enough to ride cutlery.

Thanked: 96I had the same problem after 2 uses. I complained to the vendor who told me this comes from to much pressure and lathering using a circular motion. I have 10 other brushes, synthetic, badger and Boar and have not had this problem. I was told by others this is a problem with horse hair brushes. Into the garbage, live and learn.

I love my Vie horse hair. Many uses now and not many lost hairs or disfigurement of the brushes shape.
