I have the American made Century boar brush, it says on them pure bristle made in the USA. I was used the other I am not sure when I received them, I tried one, not bad but I prefer the silver tip badger bristle over anything. If it doesn't matter to you what the lather is like once you work it up then you can use pretty much anything, I like hot lather from a brush that can keep it hot!

I love the smell of boar...yum! badger is has a weird smell but I could smell boar all day. I know, weird, right?
