Thanked: 213Does a great job today it was the last thing I cleaned up when I was all done getting dress and I actually think it was hotter then when I shaved. I am going to add the pre heat water sooner then add the heated water right before I shave to see if it gets even hotter.

Hi Don,
Nice photos by the way, and very nice scuttle. This is the large scuttle yes?
Cheers

Thanked: 11Exactly. Filling it twice offers the advantage of the material storing the heat in the first go. The second filling leaves you with warm lather for a long time. It is similar to pre-heating a teapot.
The material is stoneware, it is fired at 1220°C, which makes it impervious. In fact, the scuttles could be used without glaze.
I am confident I can make them available in the States soon without too much shipment costs involved.
Greetings
oskar
Oh, the thing on the fotos is the largest version, yes.
