I got 2 mugs which I rotate as the soap wears out. One is a green pottery mug I bought off of ebay and the other is actually a tin coffee mug I got in Waco, TX at the Texas Ranger museum. I have a soft spot in my heart for tin mugs for some reason. The third is a monogrammed scuttle I bought from Classic Shaving.com .
I use the scuttle in the winter months when a steaming hot shave feels the best and the mugs for the summer when a tap water hot shave suffices.

While we're on the subject can anybody explain this mug. I got it off ebay as a shaving mug and I bought it cause it's pretty. The shape is oblong and shaving soap will fit if you place it in sideways, I suspect it's something else. A badger hair brush will not fit in the resovoir at the front. I don't know what it is but sucker me bought it anyways.
