    Tried that... Even boiling water , put a hair band on it, and let it hang for a week. It helped. But its still wonky.

    Maybe it just needs a few more treatments of the same and some use?

    Was thinking the same thing.
    I've tried twice to straighten it, and its come around a bit better...

    I've been trying for years to get rid of my cow lick. Maybe try spit???? That's what my Mom always did.

    I would just use it and leave it hanging to dry afterwards it might come good. I have no idea if this would work or not, but practically speaking as long as it lathers well it doesn't really matter how it looks.

    Agree - just use it and it should perform normally when wet, and I agree, it should spring back to a normal configuration over time.....

    Agreed. It does lather well, for sure.
    Thats the reason I want to straighten it.
    And has the softest feel, for a boar knot.
