I am not so sure I would cough up the money for another Simpsons Manchurian now that I have had the Shavemac.

Yea, but I was pricing out the knots for a shavemac, and they ain't cheap!

I have an old Simpsons Polo 10 that's labelled Super Badger, what's the difference between the super badger and Manchurian? I've also looked at a Manchurian knot but figured I should save something for next year, or next month....

Is the Simpsons Super badge a 2 band or 3 band silvertip?

You can't compare by name because there are no standards so one super badger can equal something else. Rooney called their original two band "Finest". I'm not sure what Simpson Super Badger is. Modern two band is totally different.

The Polo 10 I have appears to be two band Super Badger, looking right at the bottom, might be three band??

two bands actually have three bands , but the dark portion is a lot wider than what a three band badger knot has.

So in your opinion, is it a 2 or 3 band brush?

Thanks for posting those photos. The reason I asked was that what Simpsons calls Super Badger currently are 3 band badger knots. The only 2 band badger knots I see them list are Manchurians. I had read that the older Simpsons Super Badger knots were 2 band which like the others have said your Polo brush is. I think if you tried one of the current ones you'd feel a difference. The older 2 band Simpsons are well liked and a lot of people look for them.

Sorry for the late reply but the old guy fell asleep watching TV.
