Thanked: 1Just pulled the trigger on a Thater 4125/2 26mm in a black resin handle. Got it from SRD. Can't wait till it arrives. I got the finest Silvertip instead of the 2-band. I want the brush to be slightly softer than more backbone.

Thanked: 1Wow this Thater is super soft, not used to a knot as dense is this. I needed to load twice as much soap as I usually do, but no problems lathering. Excellent face feel and good performer. I think it needs to break in some more for sure

Big question as well is do you prefer silky smooth tips on a brush, or something "scritchy", that really digs in an exfoliates to a certain degree....finding the right balance can be fun, and leads down the path of BAD...enjoy.

Thanked: 1I don't care for scritch on a badger. I like the silky softness. If I want a little scritch I'll use my boar brush.
