Thater or Shavemac. Both excellent two band brushes within your range. You may also want to check out Brad Sears.

It might be very uncomfortable applying lather with a boat. Is it a big one?
Just kidding.

Saville Row has a very good rep. I think Jimmy has some of them.

Thanked: 38Look at the VP Leonardy 2-band silvertips at [URL="https://thesuperiorshave.com/vp_leonhardy.html"]/URL].
The 8000 series have the nicest handles, and a fan shaped head. The 8007 is the same brush with less expensive handle. The 6800 is a bulb shaped head.Last edited by cau; 05-03-2016 at 02:03 PM. Reason: Fix link.

I have four Thater 4292's a 3,4,5 & 6. The 4292/4 is my favorite and is just 16 above what you have listed for your budget. It is an excellent brush.

Not sure since I build my own. I source a lot of if not all badger from overseas because it is where it comes from for the most part. I just finished a brush for a friend and did it in 26mm Silvertip and it is one of the best feeling badgers I have acquired yet. I have been primarily using other grades however and find they feel fine on my face.
If you don't have a badger in the lineup I highly recommend you do.......I have been happy with FS brand which was my first Silvertip. I believe you said you have a $130 budget so you should be able to find something nice.German blade snob!
