I think C&E shot themselves in the foot with their price increase, for a little more than they want for their BBB people could get a Rooney or Shavemac / Saville Row brush that is Much better than the EJ C&E BBB..
Maybe they'll get the hint when their sales drop off.

Thanked: 0When I was in Montreal, late last year, the $35 Best Badger was selling for about $56, if I remember correctly. It struck me as being a little odd that the prices were so much higher.

Thanked: 0Izlat: True brushes are a personal choice, but I was referring to a badger brush that you can go and pick up in person (in Canada, without having to buy online outside the country).
Rick W: You are absolutely right. Your $35 US somehow turns into $56 Can in our C&E stores. I can't explain it either.

Thanked: 1587I don't know what's going on in Australia, but I was in a C&E store the other day - they had a badger brush there for something in the order of 250AUD. Pretty steep. To be fair, they did have cheaper ones too (down to about 100AUD).

Seems standard to me, that's what I paid for mine.
Last night I received my Saville Row 18mm silvertip brush. All I can say is "wow". My C&E BB is officially retired after 6 months of admirable use.
The extra ~$20-$25 is well worth it. I would say I'm done with brushes, but I'm thinking I'm eventually going to get a second one for travel."But you're not as confused as him are you. I mean, it's not your job to be as confused as Nigel. "

Yes indeed the C&E Best badger is BACK at the BARGAIN price of $35.
