BB Crabtree and evelyn Brush!
Well i went to Crabtree to upgrade my brush (finally after a year!) and low and behold there out of the $35 Best badger shave brushes, so i start talking to the lady there and she said there discontinuing that model
but there getting in similar Best Badger Brushes for $65 she said i can wait or order it now online so instead i bought the Super Badger Brush for $20 more and man was it well worth it, compared to my tiny AOS genuine badger brush this things a monster and it actually fits in my shaving mug which is almost 4" in diameter/

So what will be the new alternative for a cheap starter brush? This one has been performing admirably for me and I wish other newbs can experience the same performance without breaking the bank.

Thanked: 9Ah - you meant something you can just pick up at a store?
I have no idea then. Maybe Caswell-Massey brushes? There is this one - $40, bit small but I don't know many other stores that carry badger brushes.
Cheers

Thanked: 0I still think the C&E pure badger brushes are a great deal.
When I went to buy the Best Badger that everyone was raving about they didn't have it (at the Eaton Center here in Toronto) so I settled for this one.
Sure its not Best Badger but I still think its great, and I don't intend on buying a new one for years.
