    If the brush hairs are that easily damaged, the brush isn't going to last under practical use. Think of how many times you mash, swirl and splay the knot while making lather. I use my brushes like I'm mad at them and they've lasted for years.

    I completely agree with this, I've never had a bristle catch with mine. (Large pill bottle).
