I appreciate the updates. Sounds like Wayne would give an enthusiastic thumbs up and maybe an "Up to mostly thumbs up" by Jim?
Do you think it's worth the scratch versus just buying their much less expensive options?

Well it is a thumbs up here. try and think of it as 3 very nice and fairly large brushes and that will help you with the price justification.

I think of it as more of a 'swiss army' brush. It serves a lot of functions very well.
