Thanked: 4206The Simpson knot, in superbadger, is a terrific latherer with just the right stiffness and scritch, IMO.
I too like a longer handle and find the polo 8 handle pretty much the perfect size for bowl lathering, as well as face.
Shaun, I too wish we could buy just their knots...

The Chubby 3 Super is a much denser knot with more backbone than the Kent and it won't splay as much.

My personal preference would be towards the Kent as I love the handle shape and even though it will not have the stiffness of the Simpson, that may not be a bad thing. I wouldn't necessarily call it floppy. But it does lend itself more to painting strokes, which is the way I prefer to apply lather anyways. The ease with which it applies and releases lather is what tips the scales for me.
