Sounds like a pain. I could ware tar. Well i play with gas all day and that dont bother me so... just burns a few brain cells. I got plenty to spare they tell me Ha.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 38I have a D01 2-band, 22x46 fan. It has mellowed a bit in 2+ years. But it is a messy brush. I intend to keep it: I do appreciate it for what it is and does, but if I had a redo I would get the 3-band.

Thanked: 3225As a generality 2 band knots are stiffer/less floppy than 3 band knots. At least that is my impression from the ones I have from different makers.

Here you go .Shavemacs explanation of their different knots. Very enlightening.
Only thing is they don't really tell you the lathering characteristics.Like which one hogs it more than others.

I decided to go for a 23mm D01 given WCS's blowout sale going on right now on these.
